EULA - End-User License Agreement

Don't violate copyright laws

The above statement is the extent of our user agreement. Rather than lose you in small print that you will never read, or complicated legalese, we make it simple. 

The authors and publishers that we work with have invested a great amount of time, energy and money into creating the books we have digitized.  Copyright laws, regardless of where you are from, would not allow you to take any part of that and sell it, or pass any of their intellectual property along as your own.  

Our books do not allow for copy/paste of content, nor printing (except as noted below), as we take the author's intellectual property rights very seriously, and work to protect those rights, while not burdening the end user.

Various devices:  Except in specific cases (ie. IP Range subscription), the end user will be provided a keycode, which is the key towards accessing the purchased book.  Unless specifically limited by the publisher, this keycode will allow access to the WebApp (cloud) version, plus at access to local versions.  This allows you to download the book to your Win PC, Mac, Android device (tablet, phone) and Windows tablet.  The same book, with the same features, on the device(s) of your choice.

iOS versions are often available, however are restricted to purchase from an Apple retailer, and are bound to the rules they have stipulated.  Read the Apple EULA.

WebApp Access:  Any password provided to access a DECP publication shall be exclusive to the authorized user(s), and is not transferable to others. This means there is no sharing of passwords, unless prior approval has been  provided by DECP. Server data will be reviewed by DECP to confirm authorized access does occur.  Should this be violated, individual and/or class access shall be terminated.

Photocopiable pages:  Some of the pages of some of the books include a printer icon, which means that they are "photocopiable pages" (or printable pages).  You are allowed to print these pages for your own use, and for use by your students.  These are available as 1-page PDFs (in some cases may be a PDF bundle).

Termination:  Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this license. Upon termination of the license, you shall cease all use of the licensed material, and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the licensed material.
